My husband and I had a motto throughout the process of selling my mom’s home in Texas, “If Dorie says it, do it!” Dorie Dillard is somewhat of a legend in my home. She helped us sell our home in Austin close to 20 years ago when our three children were school-age, and we had to make a cross-country move for work in the span of a few weeks. I hit quite a few roadblocks as my mom passed away in June. Suddenly there were title issues to explore and resolve—Dorie had the name of an amazing law firm. She had the foresight to strongly recommend homeowners’ insurance. Sure enough, the roof had hail damage just a couple of weeks before settlement. The insurance company, the roofers, etc.— all Dorie’s contacts —helped make it a seamless process.

She even knew the name of a reputable junk company that eased much of my burden in preparing the house for sale. She responds quickly and has the perseverance to solve any issues that arise.

Now that the house is sold, I am grateful to be able to experience a sense of closure. I can honestly say that under different circumstances, I might wish for a dozen other properties in Texas just to work with her “team” and her again. Thanks, Dorie!

I would like to share my experience with working with Dorie Dillard to sell our house in Austin recently. Dorie is the consummate professional. She is very detail oriented as she provided us with extensive analysis of the current market situation, both in our direct neighborhood as well as the extended area.
